Boarding at Green Family Pets is much different than traditional boarding! Traditional boarding usually takes place in a large kennel or agricultural area with more than 30 dogs boarded, and the dogs stay in indoor/outdoor kennels with little human interaction. It’s loud with all the barking, it can be scary for nervous pets, and it can be dirty. We strive to be the EXACT OPPOSITE of that experience.
Green Family Pets has six indoor luxury dog kennels that are 4×8 ft., where the dogs interact with the staff while we groom and bathe them. If your dog is social, they can hang out and play. If your dog is nervous, we can move them to our large kennels in our bathing area or the 10×20-foot play yard in our garage area. Dogs are taken on five walks a day in the grassy area behind our shop. They are fed twice daily, at 8 am and 8 pm. They get lots of cuddle time, or alone time if they need it. They are monitored 24/7 around the clock using security cameras that give notifications if dogs even pop their heads up!
Rates are currently $50 a night for large dogs, $40 a night for small and medium dogs, and $25 a night for any additional family dogs who can share a kennel. Holiday rates are $60 a night for large dogs, $50 a night for small and medium dogs, and $35 a night for any additional family dogs who can share a kennel.
We require a deposit of half the boarding charges to be made at the time of scheduling, with the other half due at pickup. If your plans change, please notify us at least 72 hours in advance for a full refund or 48 hours in advance for a half refund. We are a small facility, so we are saving those spots for you and may be difficult to fill them at the last minute.
Please bring all dog foods, treats, toys, leashes or harnesses, medications, or special items that make your dog feel comfortable. We supply the kennels with special flooring to cushion them, raised dog beds, food and water bowls, and lots of love! There is no additional fee to administer vet-prescribed medications (orally or injected) or supplements.
Drop-offs for boarding dogs are available Monday to Friday from 9 am – 4 pm, Saturday or Sunday, between 10 am-11 am, or between 6 pm – 7 pm. If early drop-offs or late pick-ups are necessary, special arrangements can be made with the owner.
